The north (mountain) side of the lodge is the guest side. This has five bedrooms (3 ensuite) and 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom. There is an additional half bath off the kitchen on the lower floor. There is a spacious living room, dining room, game room, laundry room, kitchen and back deck with gas grill.

This spacious room was once part of the old dining room of the historic Inn with a newly installed gas fired fire place and comfortable seating. This room adjoins a separate family dining area that looks out on to Moosehead Lake and seats up to 20 people.
This large bedroom looks out on to Moosehead Lake and contains now four (4) twin sized beds so it is perfect for a kids bunk room and shares a bathroom with the Golfer's Room so is usually booked together as a family grouping.
This room has a nautical theme and looks out over the golf course. It has a private bathroom and the double bed (sleeps two) shown in the photo is being replaced by a queen sized bed before the beginning of season 2022
This room is only available at certain times of the year and upon request. It has 2 twin beds and a bunk bed so can entertain up to 4 children or teenagers and looks out onto Moosehead Lake.
This fun room is in the theme of golfing with antique clubs and items and looks out on the 8th hole of the fairway in front of the lodge. It has a queen size bed and sleeps two.
This room has been refurbished and now highlights all of the native and beautiful fungi on Kineo, formerly the Duck Hunting Room. It still accommodates two people in twin sized beds but has a totally new fresh look and also overlooks Moosehead Lake. (new photo pending).The room has an adjoining private bath room.
The Oak Lodge is a private residence. The Owners run the lodge as a bed and breakfast or rental lodge that contains up to 9 bedrooms . The rental season is typically from the first of June to mid-September. The rental week begins mid-June through September.
Weekly Rental (North Side) 5 Bedrooms; 5 bath; kitchen; dining room; living room with gas fireplace; game room; and utility room (4,500 sf +/-) includes private back deck overlooking the lake and access to the boat dock on lake, and front porch along the golf course.
Weekly Rental (Both Sides) 9 Bedrooms; 9 baths; 2 kitchens; 2 dining; 2 living-family rooms w/ gas fire places; game-lakeside room; 1 front parlor; & utility room (9,000 sf +/-). Reserved for special occasions when available. Includes access to all three back decks overlooking the lake, boat dock on lake, and covered front porch overlooking golf course fairway
Upon request and availability, the lodge can be used for weddings and catering activities. These special events must be pre-arranged and discussed with owner (Karen) including negotiated rates
Includes a full breakfast. Rooms with private baths are available with either two twin beds, a queen, or a king bed. Note that the season of B&B rentals is very short to due repeat pre-booked weekly rentals from long term guest families so that the weeks available for B&B (by the room rental) is very short and in some years not available. You may inquire if we have a B&B week available but it is typically only in weeks where we have no weekly rentals.
On occasion, when a half weekly rental of the lodge occurs, a large family or grouping needs an additional room from the Owner's side. When available, the Loon Room with a private bath is also available to add on and increase the total bedrooms available to 6. The Loon bedroom has been upgraded with a queen bed and connects to the newly refurbished Mushroom bedroom (formerly the Duck Bedroom) on the guest side, that has two twin beds and a private bath.
